Customer Service Representative/Receptionist – Calgary Alberta

Raildecks requires an energetic, motivated and career-minded Customer Service Representative responsible for ensuring the customer service calls are properly documented, recorded and executed in a timely manner.  This position will, in addition, support the Operations team with the logistical tasks in executing customer service calls while maintaining communications with the customer and supply chain service providers.

Other responsibilities will include reception duties, the management of customer and vendor data, service calls and purchase orders using Great Plains and Wennsoft Equipment Manager and Service software.

Applicants should possess the following:

2 to 5 years of customer service and/or logistics experience for the trucking and/or railway industry

  • Proficiency in MS Office products (experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) or Wennsoft Equipment software would be considered an asset)
  • Beneficial to have experience in utilization or management of distribution centers
  • Applicant must possess excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy
